Logiwiz India has set up its first Logistics Centre (LC) in Bangalore, which is strategically located in the Bangalore's IT corridor, Whitefield with close proximity to the ICD. The logistics facility comprised a raised floor warehouse of 40,000sqft and equipped with a racking system with a capacity for 3000 pallets storage at given time. Our clients at the Bangalore LC include several multinational clients such as MOLEX (networking equipment), APC (UPS equipment) and ACER computers (computer hardware). Apart from Bangalore operations at the multi-client LC, Logiwiz also commenced operations in end 2006 in Hyderabad and Kolkota with client dedicated logistics facilities for SIGMA ALDRICH (specialty chemicals for pharmaceuticals). Logiwiz India will be planning a network of multi-client logistics facilities of 50,000-100,000sqftin all key metro's such as Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and Kolkota as well as in other key cities with a dedicated transportation fleet for the distribution operations. Apart from its multi-user logistics facilities, Logiwiz India will be offering client-owned contract warehousing management services and other customized value added logistics solutions. Logiwiz India will leverage on the expertise and knowledge gained in providing 3rd party logistics services to a diverse range of industry verticals in Sri Lanka over the past few years.
