Logiwiz receives ISO 9001:2008 for Quality Management Systems

   

The year 2009 witnessed Logiwiz achieving an important milestone with its quality management systems being certified compliant with ISO 9001:2008.

   

The certification by DET Norske Veritas (DNV) covers the provision of 3PL services and includes a Quality Policy related to customer needs and other stake holder needs.

   

The Quality Policy encompasses areas such as the need for continual improvement, evaluation of risk and business continuity planning, identifying resources, supply chain processes, stakeholder management and even customer satisfaction relative to competition in the market place.

   

Logiwiz has undertaken industry practices conforming to international standards such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Business Continuity Planning, deploying state of the art Infrastructure and equipments, setting down Key performance indicators which are quantifiable and measurable and recognized as good practices by the certifying body of ISO DNV management system. Also Maintaining Quality and superior management processes with a clear focus on continuous improvements has been an integral part of Logiwiz‘s service provision. And as a result this has enabled us to attract and retain Multinational Companies operating in Sri Lanka. These are the excellent Quality Management Practices that was recognized by DNV at the time of their awarding of the ISO certification top Logiwiz  

   

The ISO certification will help Logiwiz further in enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty, through compliance and continual improvements. Logiwiz anticipates that through its robust systems and processes it will be able to better support its clients to react more efficiently to market demands at the optimum price. The improved internal working processes are also expected to build morale and motivation of the employees. The certification would also act as a platform to address business priorities and corporate plans in relation to the organizations value chain and would renew emphasis on quality management while recognizing it as one of the main company goals.
